Delight yourself in the Lord and he will give you the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4
Isn't that awesome? Our God loves us so much that all he desires is for us to fall totally and completely in love with him. That's how much he loves us. And when we do, he takes such good care of us that we will have everything we could ever need or ask for. A true relationship with the Lord is all about joy and fulfillment. And the best thing? God created us all with those basic needs, so we would always have to go running to him to be filled. We are so loved!

I love this verse. :) It always reminds me of what my old youth leader/mentor would say...that when we truly delight in the Lord, fall completely head over heels for him, and allow him to love us as deeply as he so longs to, then our hearts' desires will be conformed to look more like his which is exactly what he wants to give us. No more of these lesser desires that never forever satisfy. The thing is, learning how to train our hearts to delight in Him amidst the tempting "turkish delights" of this world can sometimes be, and unfortunately often is, harder than we expect.
